Caribbean Airlines is the state-owned airline of Trinidad and Tobago, headquartered in Piarco International Airport in Trincity, Port of Spain. The airline operates scheduled services to 24 domestic and 27 international destinations in 19 countries in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Central America and Europe. The airline was established as BWIA West Indies Airways Ltd on 27 September 1934, started operations on 31 December 1949 and was renamed BWIA International Airways Ltd on 1 January 2003 following the merger of BWIA Limited with Air Jamaica. On 1 August 2004, the company was again renamed Caribbean Airlines as it re-branded its scheduled passenger operation to become the full-service provider in the English-speaking Caribbean. The airline has a fleet of Airbus A320ceo and ATR 72 aircraft.

Caribbean Airlines has two international hubs, one at Piarco International Airport in Trinidad and another at Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica. The airline also has two domestic hubs, one at Piarco International Airport and another at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana.
